Collaborating closely with a skilled residential architect and structural engineer, the Build with MD team delivered a flawless balance of form and function through expert planning, precision craftsmanship, and attention to detail at every stage of this multi-phase build. Every detail—structural, aesthetic, and functional—was intentionally designed to honor the essence of a traditional pagoda while providing all the modern comforts expected in a high-end residential project.

The 2,500 sq. ft. custom home features a first-floor garage, smart wall panels, and concealed utilities that maintain a sleek, minimalist exterior. The structure integrates both wood and steel framing—using wrapped wood around the steel beams—to achieve the distinctive, layered pagoda silhouette. A hybrid heating and cooling system ensures comfort, efficiency, and year-round climate control.

Additional custom elements include engineered exterior finishes designed to withstand Pittsburgh’s seasonal weather, premium window systems for natural light and energy efficiency, and a thoughtfully designed interior layout that flows effortlessly from one level to the next.
